Junior Engineer - Quality (Tool room division)

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform before Heating Inspection – check dimensions, tolerances, surface finish & machining allowances before heat treatment.

· Conduct Assembly Inspection – verify matching accuracy, shut-off, parting line, slider & ejector movement, and alignment.

· Carry out Final Inspection – confirm dimensional & functional accuracy of complete mould/die before dispatch or trial.

· Prepare and maintain BHIR, AIR & Final Inspection Reports with proper documentation and traceability.

· Handle and maintain precision measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Profile Projector, CMM, etc.).

· Coordinate with Machining, EDM, Assembly & Design teams for deviation correction.

· Ensure compliance with ISO / AS9100D / IATF 16949 quality system standards.

· Support tool qualification, trials, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of tool & die design drawings and GD&T

• Skilled in precision measurement & inspection techniques

Required Knowledge:

• Knowledge of machining, heat treatment, assembly, and trial process

• Good documentation, MS Excel, and communication skills

• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
