Senior Tool Designer - Die Casting Division

ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for HPDC dies, trimming tools, and fixtures using Creo.
• Ensure designs meet GD&T, customer specifications, and manufacturability standards.
• Make design improvements based on trial feedback, tool life analysis, and production issues.
• Apply standard die design practices to ensure ease of manufacturing and maintenance.
• Work closely with tool manufacturing teams for smooth execution of new tool projects.
• Maintain detailed design files, revision history, and BOMs in line with ISO/AS9100 documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to junior designers and toolmakers on Creo usage and design concepts.
• Participate in customer technical discussions to finalize tool design concepts.
• Keep updated with latest developments in Creo software, die casting materials, and tool manufacturing methods.

REQUIRED SKILL:

• Expert-level proficiency in Creo Parametric & Autocad (3D modeling, detailing, assembly management)

• Software skills in Mold flow analysis (Magma, Flow 3D, Cast designer or other softwares).

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

• Strong knowledge of aluminium HPDC tooling concepts and design principles.
• Proficiency in mold flow analysis software (MAGMASoft, Autocad, etc.) preferred.
