Assistant Manager - Vendor Development
ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Developing mould from concepts to final customer approval.
- Time line updation to customer
- Customer coordination and updating each event to the customer
- Attending the trials and troubleshooting
- Good knowledge of moulding defects and remedies
- Good experience of dimension correction/ flash correction
- Coordinating with the customer and understanding the product requirements and getting it done
- Preparation Mould Buy Off documents/ Mould readiness check sheet etc.
- Hand on experience in toolroom mould manufacturing/ development
- Coordinating with vendors in the stage wise developments of the mould.
REQUIRED SKILL:
- Experience in developing and implementing vendor qualificationReport and Procedure writing with excellent presentation skills
- Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings
- Understanding manufacturing processes
- Planning and prioritising activities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and influential skills
- Ability to present data effectively
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
- GD&T Knowledge
- Other, non-technical skills such as problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills
- Must be skilled at reading blueprints, charts, and tables.
- Must have thorough knowledge of principles of operation of moldmaking tools, machining methods, and typical mold tooling material.
