Asst.Manager - Vendor Development

ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES:

Developing mould from concepts to final customer approval.

Time line updation to customer

Customer coordination and updating each event to the customer

Attending the trials and troubleshooting

Good knowledge of moulding defects and remedies

Good experience of dimension correction/ flash correction

Coordinating with the customer and understanding the product requirements and getting it done

Preparation Mould Buy Off documents/ Mould readiness check sheet etc.

Hand on experience in toolroom mould manufacturing/ development

Coordinating with vendors in the stage wise developments of the mould.

MICROSOFT EXCEL/ WORD/ POWER POINT

REQUIRED SKILL:

Experience in developing and implementing vendor qualificationReport and Procedure writing with excellent presentation skills

Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings

Understanding manufacturing processes

Planning and prioritising activities

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Strong negotiation and influential skills

Ability to present data effectively

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

GD & T Knowledge

Other, non-technical skills such as problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills

Must be skilled at reading blueprints, charts, and tables.

Must have thorough knowledge of principles of operation of moldmaking tools, machining methods, and typical mold tooling material.
