Assistant Manager - Vendor Development


ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Developing mould from concepts to final customer approval.
  • Time line updation to customer
  • Customer coordination and updating each event to the customer
  • Attending the trials and troubleshooting
  • Good knowledge of moulding defects and remedies
  • Good experience of dimension correction/ flash correction
  • Coordinating with the customer and understanding the product requirements and getting it done
  • Preparation Mould Buy Off documents/ Mould readiness check sheet etc.
  • Hand on experience in toolroom mould manufacturing/ development
  • Coordinating with vendors in the stage wise developments of the mould.


REQUIRED SKILL:

  • Experience in developing and implementing vendor qualificationReport and Procedure writing with excellent presentation skills
  • Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings
  • Understanding manufacturing processes
  • Planning and prioritising activities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and influential skills
  • Ability to present data effectively

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

  • GD&T Knowledge
  • Other, non-technical skills such as problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills
  • Must be skilled at reading blueprints, charts, and tables.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of principles of operation of moldmaking tools, machining methods, and typical mold tooling material.
